Material test – Gear box test rig

The Unistat® 630w is used to control the temperature of transmission tests. The temperature range is -40°C to +120°C. The temperature control does take place using a plate heat exchanger, through which the transmission fluid is pumped. It is driven in cycles, in extreme temperature tests and long-term tests at normal transmission oil temperature.
